The Congregational Connections Focus Group is responsible for making sure St. Lukers have plenty of opportunities to make lasting connections with one another. We develop events and structures to support group connections from large to small. Our largest annual events include: the Gathering Sunday Ice Cream Social, the Barn Dance, the Progressive Dinner, the Advent Event, and the End of the Program Year Picnic. We are currently working on greatly expanding the number and variety of groups and events offered. Current projects are: game night, connecting people with common interests/desires to create short term and long term “small groups,” creating internet and bulletin board avenues for people to connect for one-time or fluid events, and more. If you love connecting people or planning events, consider either joining our planning team or simply helping with specific events or projects.
