Buildings and Grounds Committee Print E-mail

St. Luke Bird HouseThe Building and Grounds Committee is involved in maintaining the St. Luke church building and its surrounding property in good condition so as to provide a clean and safe environment to worship, work, play, and meet.

With much help from church staff and volunteers, the committee routinely takes care of small or routine projects that arise throughout the year. We occasionally also get involved with initiating and managing larger projects that involve outside contractors. For example, this year we plan to start a special project to tuckpoint the brick on the building exterior.

Building and Grounds also organizes two “Clean-Up” days per year at the church, once in the fall and again in the spring. This involves organizing volunteers to carry out special cleaning and maintenance projects both inside the building and around the church grounds.

If you have an interest in construction, building operations, landscaping, etc, please consider joining our group.
