Thank you for volunteering to host the families of Families Moving Forward! Time: 7:00 p.m. – 6:15 a.m. (9:00 a.m. on Saturday) An airbed is provided, but you should bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and alarm clock. You will be sleeping in one of the pastoral offices. You may store your items in the office in which you will be sleeping. On the table in the pastor’s office, you will find a logbook to record your comments or special instructions, a first aid kit, and keys for the exterior doors. Introduce yourself to the guests. It may be helpful to wear your nametag. Remind them which room you are staying in and that they are free to knock on your door in case of an emergency. In-room bedtimes are 9:00 p.m. for children, 10:00 p.m. for teens, and 11:00 p.m. for adults. At 10:00 p.m., lock all outside doors. At 6:00 a.m. (7:00 a.m. on Saturday), unlock the outside doors to let in the breakfast hosts. Wake guests as requested. Record your comments in the logbook. Leave the keys on the table in the pastor’s office. If you have any questions, please call either Steve Warner at 952-470-8897 (home) or 612-819-0522 (cell) or Sheryl Bjork at 952-474-1165 (home) or 952-457-5275 (cell). Either Steve or Sheryl will meet you at the church to introduce you to the families and go over any questions you may have. Thank you! |
