A Message From Our Pastor |

 Greetings!
We are delighted you have found your way to us. It is likely you are a seeker after a place where you might experience love….or peace…or inclusion….or challenge.
So, someone told you about us, or you saw one of our ads, or you heard about us and our outreach into the world.
However, it happened, we welcome you.
And, it falls to me to say something here which might invite you further into learning about us, which might give some momentum to the idea that we are about love…and peace…and inclusion…and challenge
So, here’s what I say
We see Jesus. And seek to follow him…..
in everything.
- In the light of each other’s faces, standing around the Communion Table
- In the deep truths of other faiths and cultures
- In communion with the people of Haiti as we stand with them to work to transform their country
- In solidarity with immigrants at the border, and in the Twin Cities
- In the polar bear and her cub floating on a lone piece of ice
- In the sweet and rich Mississippi River mud, from which the poet says God scooped up our essence and formed us into God’s image
That’s St. Luke. It’s not so much that we believe our way into our life together. Dogmas, doctrines, purity codes, or catechisms are not what we’re about. We’re about following the life and teachings of Jesus.
And, it’s easier than you’d think. For together, in a common bond, in the Spirit of Divine love, we find our life….. where we live and move and have our being.
Come, then. Visit us, join with us…..in this laboratory of life, in this incubator of love, where, in one way or another, and together……….we will see Jesus, and seek to follow.
