As Senior Pastor, Brennan Blue enjoys the gift of sharing in collaborative leadership and discernment with our community, partners and friends.
Brennan grew up in Metro Detroit, attending the University of Michigan and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary before entering into ordained ministry as a Presbyterian Church (USA) pastor in 2011. Before his arrival here at St. Luke, Brennan served a Resident Minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor and an Associate Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. In St. Luke, Brennan finds joyful home for his progressive theology, love of community and commitment to care.
Brennan lives with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Avery, in a little blue house in South Minneapolis with fruit trees and a lively young dog. The Blues share a passion for cooking, camping, community building and advocacy work. Brennan is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
