Evening Worship: Sundays, July 10, 17, 24, 31 5:00pm - 6:30pm

It’s time for a picnic, but not just any picnic! How about a picnic filled with hot topics, cool music, and an abundance of grace? Beginning in July, St. Luke will host a new kind of worship, complete with hot dogs and brats on the grill! Families from within and around our community are invited to picnic on the lawn, share in a message led by Anita, and engage in some of today’s toughest topics for people curious but hesitant about church. This gathering will be intentionally intergenerational, built to withstand the wiggles, yet engage all ages and stages in the hope and healing we find through our progressive Christian message.

We will begin each evening at 5:00 pm, to share our picnic together, then start worship around 5:45 pm. The plan is to conclude by 6:30 pm, in time for families to return home and back to their bedtime routines. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for the ground, and side dishes for your own family – brats and dogs will be provided by St. Luke. Coming straightfrom the cabin? Great! Come as you are and get fueled for the week ahead!

Here is our worship on the lawn schedule:
