Nora P. Elliott, Associate Pastor (she/they)

Nora is thrilled to be serving a 4-way covenant between St. Luke Presbyterian Church, the Minnesota Conference of the United Church of Christ, the United Church of Christ in New Brighton, and herself as Associate Pastor for Youth and Families. She is grateful to St. Luke and the UCC for accepting her as a trans woman, as well as her wife and adorable children for their continued love and joy.

When it comes to youth and children’s ministry, she believes we are called to create spaces of welcome and warmth to accept children as they are today. She, along with the faith formation team of volunteer parents, youth, and wider community members, creates opportunities for children of all ages to explore the glory of creation.

They challenge the youth and children to go farther, think deeper, and live with brave authenticity and compassion, with Jesus as the ultimate role model. They cultivate loving and supportive peer groups, to nurture the passions and joys of young people and their families.
