St. Luke’s Session met on November 18, 2025. At the meeting, the Session:

  • Reviewed the rolls and registers of the church.

  • Planned a Session retreat for January 10, 2026, to discuss ministry and mission priorities for the upcoming year.

  • Explored HVAC repair/replacement options after a hailstorm damaged two units earlier this fall.

  • Approved a new MN Paid Leave policy.

  • Celebrated and gave thanks for the congregation’s generosity in the 2026 stewardship campaign.

  • Approved the Holiday Fair Trade Bazaar during Advent and a Christmas poinsettia sale to decorate the sanctuary on Christmas Eve.

  • Approved a $20,000 Legacy Request from the Social Justice Committee to support the work of The Advocates for Human Rights.

  • Authorized the serving of Communion on Nov. 23, 2025, and January 4, 2026, and the baptism of Keyaz Stevenson on December 21, 2025.

  • Recorded Rev. Dr. Kristin Riegel’s 2026 Housing Allowance.

  • Received the 2026 Stated Meetings of the St. Luke Session dates.

  • Received a reminder about the Special Meeting of the Session on November 23, 2025, 9:30 a.m., to receive new members.

  • Heard an update about upcoming presbytery meeting dates.

  • Discussed the formation of the 2026 Audit Committee.
