Join Hennepin County Suburban Churches on April 23

Thanks to those who joined us for Lighthouse actions, our Light In The Storm event last year, rapid-response tactics in January, and/or our big Palm Sunday procession and worship service a couple of weeks ago. Together, we have been demonstrating what it means to live out our Christian faith values of loving our neighbors, caring for the sick, feeding the hungry, and welcoming the stranger!

What now? We invite all of you from congregations across the Hennepin County suburbs to join us on Thursday, April 23, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church in Golden Valley. Together we will:

Meet people and collaborate across congregations
Debrief and celebrate the impact of our Palm Sunday actions
Plan upcoming actions at HCMC and the Capitol
Share and workshop a “discipleship formation path” for each of our churches to pursue additional training and take public action(s) this summer
Will you be there next Thursday night? Who else from your church will you invite to join us? See you then!
