Position Available: Director of Youth Ministries

St. Luke Presbyterian Church is a vibrant intergenerational church with a growing children, youth, and family ministries program. As a church, we are a progressive congregation with strong commitments to LGBTQIA+, social, racial, and environmental justice.

Children and youth are an integral part of our congregation and participate in worship leadership, intergenerational musicals and events, and special programs, such as a summer Eco-Club that involves outdoor learning experiences, such as gardening.

Over the past year, we have experienced tremendous growth in our children and youth programs. We are looking for a Director of Youth Ministries to help shape and lead our youth programs for youth, grades 5–12. The ideal candidate would have a strong passion for experience working with youth; experience being serving as a volunteer or working in a church or similar setting; a progressive theology and commitment to LGBQTIA+ inclusion and social justice; a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of team; and someone who is able to balance relationship building with planning and administrative work.
